keep refreshing…

It’s all raves for Damien Chazelle’s “First Man” at the Venice Film Festival.

The Ryan Gosling-Claire Foy starrer is getting rapturous reviews as they pour in.

So far it’s 8 fresh and 0 rotten on Rotten Tomatoes.

Owen Gleiberman in Variety: “A movie so revelatory in its realism, so gritty in its physicality, that it becomes a drama of thrillingly hellbent danger and obsession.”

David Rooney in the Hollywood Reporter: “This sober, contemplative picture has emotional involvement, visceral tension, and yes, even suspense, in addition to stunning technical craft.”

IndieWire: “A powerful experience that will inspire renewed awe of what Armstrong and his ilk did. It may not be a giant leap for filmmaking, but it’s another small step for this filmmaker.”
