Woody Allen plays Sidney Munsinger in his Amazon series, “Crisis in Six Scenes,” which is sex half hour episodes debuting on September 30th. Miley Cyrus and Elaine May co-star, but the rest of the cast includes Michael Rapaport, Rachel Brosnahan, Max Casella (whom you can see in the clip as the barber) plus Woody’s friend and sometime collaborator Doug McGrath. Joy Behar, Lewis Black, Rebecca Shull and Christine Ebersole turn up in an episode each.
John Magaro, also in “Orange is the New Black,” is in all six episodes which suggests he may be Miley’s love interest (he’s the only other cast member under 70).
Woody is 80 years old, has “Cafe Society” out now and starts filming his 2017 movie imminently. What are you doing lately?
