SAG Awards: “Conclave” Surprise Winner! Demi Moore Huge Victory!Timothee Chalamet Best Actor, Jane Fonda Awesome Speech

UPDATING

BEST ENSEMBLE: “Conclave”!

Jane Fonda gave amazing speech at the SAG Awards for her Lifetime Achievement Award. The press is focusing on her uncomfortable red carpet appearance. But don’t do that. The speech is much more important. The text of it is coming…

The speech was pro-union, self-effacing, and inspiring. Fonda warned that Hollywood must come together as a community to take on “what’s coming.” She implied that was the Trump administration. She’s right!

“‘Woke’.” she said, “means you give a damn.”

On the red carpet, Jane seemed disoriented when talking to Lily Singh. But it was a totally human moment, just as the one when she hit back at an audio problem during her speech.

Movies:

Best Actor: Timothee Chalamet, “A Complete Unknown”

Best Actress: Demi Moore, “The Substance”

Best Supporting Actor — Kieran Culkin, “A Real Pain”

Best Supporting Actress — Zoe Saldana. “Emilia Perez”

Showbiz411 is now in its 13th year of providing breaking and exclusive entertainment news. This is an independent site, unlike the many Hollywood trades that are owned by one company. To continue providing news that takes a fresh look at what's going on in movies, music, theater, etc, advertising is our basis. Reader donations would be greatly appreciated, too. They are just another facet of keeping fact based journalism alive.
