“Melania” is no longer number 1.
The former First Lady’s memoir spent less than a week at the top of the Amazon best seller list.
It’s now number 4, behind Riley Keough’s book about her grandfather, Elvis Presley, and mother, Lisa Marie Presley.
It’s also behind “War” by Bob Woodward, a searing look at Donald Trump through interviews.
There’s also a Halloween coloring book in the top 3.
And then comes “Melania,” a great work of fiction. On Amazon, readers continue to complain about the smudged cover that shows fingerprints.
It’s worse at Barnes & Noble.com, where “Melania” has fallen to number 20 very quickly.
In her memoir, Melania says nothing about all the trials Donald Trump has been involved in, his 34 felony convictions, the sexual harassment case from E. Jean Carroll, the fact that a judge pronounced Trump a “rapist,” or his hatred of immigrants.
Prior to publication, Melania issued a series of odd and scary videos on social media. Those have stopped now. Her publicity tour has been confined to Fox News.
