Critics Choice Documentary Awards Nominees Include Christopher Reeve Film, Will Ferrell’s “Will and Harper”

Share

The Critics Choice Documentary Awards nominations are out, and they are terrific. What a great group of films. The Awards are given out November 10th in New York. Four of the 10 Best Documentaries are from Netflix. A sentimental favorite is “Super/Man,” the Christopher Reeve story. And “Piece by Piece,” the Lego movie about musician Pharrell Williams, is a winner. The film most likely to go to the Oscars is “Sugarcane” from National Geographic, an investigation into abuse and missing children at a native residential school ignites a reckoning on the nearby Sugarcane Reserve.
