Martha Stewart debuted her documentary, “Martha,” last night at the Hamptons Film Festival to a standing ovation.

The film, directed by RJ Cutler, is a no holds barred look at her life including her arrest and incarceration in the early 2000s. for lying about a stock trade. She spent 5 months in jail and had two more years of probation.

At the Q&A following the screening she was asked if Donald Trump– once an old friend — had offered to pardon her before left office in 2021.

“Even if he had,” Stewart said, “I couldn’t have accepted it. My friends and family wouldn’t speak to me again!”

“Martha” is such a good film that Alec Baldwin was overheard saying to the 83 year old billionaire entrepreneur, “I like you even better now!”

Among the other celebs at Guild Hall last night: Donna Karan. Tonight Martha is getting a triple A list dinner party at a private mansion since she no longer owns a home in the Hamptons. She’s just the most-desired dinner guest.

Martha never rests! She and Snoop Dogg have just launched a line of BIC lighters and iPhone cases that will no doubt sell right out.

A full review of “Martha” and more from the Hamptons Fest later on today….
