Richard Simmons May Have Come Around to Pauly Shore’s Film About Him: Watch Short Video They Showed in Sundance Here

Comedic actor Pauly Shore really wants to play Richard Simmons in a biopic. He brought a short film to Sundance called “The Court Jester” to find backers for the film.

Simmons, now a recluse, issued a statement saying he gave no permission. (He doesn’t have to.) But now Shore says Simmon’s okay with it, probably because he was offered money and rights. The short is executive produced by Max Ostroff, nephew of Hollywood exec Dawn Ostroff.

Anyway, here’s the short. At first Shore looks like Ronald McDonald. But then it settles down.
