I like Harry Styles but his music is, uh, derivative. His songs carry riffs and ideas from previously released music by groups like Badfinger and Crowded House. He loves the 70s, or his producers do.
Harry drops a new single on Thursday night. It’s called “As It Was.” It’s from an album called “Harry’s House.”
“Harry’s House” was a terrific Joni Mitchell song from the 1975 album, “The Hissing of Summer Lawns.” Joni’s account Tweeted: “Love the the title.” See below.
Here’s Harry’s latest Tweet:

And here’s “Harry’s House” in a medley with “Centerpiece,” by Lambert, Hendricks and Ross. When Harry Styles makes a track like this, call me, please.
