Exclusive

Carlos Santana and Rob Thomas are the first artists signed for Clive Davis’s Central Park show on August 21st.

And I can tell you also exclusively that CNN has signed to broadcast the show.

Santana and Thomas will recreate their great hit, “Smooth,” among other hits at the show which will be free in Central Park. Davis is producing the show for the .city of New York as a Welcome Back. (I’m sure we’ll get a little Oye Como Va out of Santana, right?)

Davis is planning a mega show. I’m hearing all kinds of other names, but I’ll refrain from stirring the pot til all are confirmed.

So far, pretty good!

More to come shortly. Keep refreshing
